WELCOME TO STABIA MAIN PORT

Stabia Main Port is the new Marina Resort created in 2017 in the heart of the city of Castellammare di Stabia, between Vesuvius, Sorrento, and Pompeii, and just a few nautical miles from the island of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. A modern hub for megayachts and gigayachts in the center of the Mediterranean, designed to welcome luxury pleasure craft 12 months a year with 24/7 operational services.

The Marina Resort Stabia Main Port was created in the historic Bourbon basin, adjacent to Fincantieri (Royal Bourbon Shipyard), where the tall ship Amerigo Vespucci was built in 1931. It is the main port of Stabia, ideal for itineraries to the archaeological sites of Stabia and Pompeii; due to its geographical location, it is the natural superyacht marina for Sorrento and Vesuvius, which are just a few minutes away.

The facility is highly functional and well organized, featuring a wide harbor entrance (over 400 meters), deep draft (9 meters), and comprehensive mooring capacity (for vessels from 24 to 150 meters). On the quayside, there are modern utility pedestals for water, electricity (400 V – 125/250/500/1000 amp), and high-speed internet, with 24/7 security guaranteed year-round via video surveillance and day/night security personnel. The VHF reference channel is 13. Within the port area, onboard guests and crew can enjoy a BBQ area, tennis court, gym, soccer field, lounge bar, various dining spots, a modern crew club with an event terrace, extensive storage, and concierge offices to organize local tours, assist with provisioning, or arrange land and sea itineraries.

Outside the port lies the city: the public park and seaside promenade for strolling and jogging, the ancient thermal baths with 28 springs, bars, a varied dining scene (including a Michelin-starred restaurant, traditional chalets, local taverns, pubs, and pizzerias), ice cream parlors, post offices, banks, cinemas, theaters, beaches, hotels, and the main street for shopping. A nearby train station connects to Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples, and Salerno, and Mount Faito—offering views over the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno—can be reached in just a few minutes. The port is a 30-minute drive from both Naples and Salerno.
