Stabia Main Port is a brand new Marina located in the center of the city of Castellammare di Stabia.
It is a modern facility which also holds recognition from Marina Resort for the excellence of the services provided to captains, crews and ship owners when they arrive at the port. Stabia Main Port was founded in 2015 in the ancient Bourbon basin adjacent to the Fincantieri (Regio Cantiere Borbonico) where the sailing vessel Amerigo Vespucci was built in 1931.
Stabia Main Port is the ideal port for itineraries to the archaeological site of Pompeii, which is only 10 minutes away. It is the Marina of Sorrento and the Marina of Vesuvius, which is 15 minutes away. Furthermore, it is the most functional and large berthing place for drafting (9 meters) and for mooring possibilities (for units from 25 to 250 meters) near Capri.
Stabia Main Port is the only marina which is able to berth Megayachts up to 250 meters in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a modern facility which can guarantee electricity, up to 1350 ampere, to the boats, and supply water with the columns in a modern Montecarlo style. Moreover, it is guaranteed on board of each boat, the collection of differentiated, undifferentiated waste, gray and black water and bilge oil. A 24/7 security service and a modern video surveillance system are provided, besides, it is literally a few meters away from the Harbor offices, Customs Office, Finance Guard, which guarantees the recognition to Stabia Main Port as the safest Marina Resort in Southern Italy.
The Marina works with a professional team of mooring men, operating day and night. The VHF channel of reference is 13. Next to the port, guests and crew members of the moored units can take advantage of a tennis court, gym, lounge bar and dining area.
The city is just outside the port, offering – the ancient Baths boasting 28 springs, bars, starred restaurants, taverns, Irish pubs, ice cream parlors, post offices, banks, shopping area, beaches, theater, cinema, SPA, railway station ( to reach Naples in 30 minutes, Sorrento in 20 minutes and Pompeii in 15 minutes), the cableway to reach Mount Faito in 10 minutes (operating day and night), swimming pools, medieval castle for major events, municipal villa that runs along the seafront, for walking or jogging.
